Business Management for Rural Entrepreneurs

Course Overview

The Business Management for Rural Entrepreneurs course aims to equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to become a successful entrepreneur.

The course will look at leadership, business analysis and planning, change management, and strategies to identify risk and build resilience. Participants will learn how to develop a robust and logical plan and be given the task of creating a plan of their own through our unique interactive farm business.

Learning Outcomes

On successful completion of this course, participants should be able to:
• Evaluate the impacts of policy, economics and markets on rural businesses ventures
• Analyse a business plan
• Critically assess risk and sensitivity as factors of rural business management
• Develop and revise a rural business plan
