The AgriFood Training Partnership is a collaboration of four world renowned UK university core partners – Aberystwyth University, Cranfield University, Harper Adams University and The University of Reading – that delivers cutting-edge training, informed by the latest academic research, to professionals in the food and agriculture sectors.
Our provision spans flexible training opportunities delivered by online distance learning or face to face workshops, through to part-time masters and research degrees.
The AFTP is the bridge between the agrifood industry and academia – translating cutting edge academic research into applied industry expertise, focussing on helping the industry’s best talent to deepen their knowledge and advance their skills.
In an era of climate change, food insecurity and an ever-growing population, we are equipping the agrifood industry to become more efficient, more profitable and more sustainable – to prepare us all for the challenges ahead.
Taking a training course with the AFTP will give participants the skills and knowledge to allow them to make an immediate impact in their business and the agrifood industry. Considering the UK’s changing relationship with Europe and the rest of the world, our objective is to assist professionals in developing their skills to enable them to help create a robust and technologically advanced agrifood industry – fit for the challenges of the future.
